
This course aims to provides students with the knowledge and skills to manage sustainable farming practices that focus on soil health, biodiversity, and the use of natural resources. The course covers a range of topics, including organic crop production, soil management, composting, pest control, crop rotation, and water conservation. Students will learn how to produce healthy, high-quality crops without the use of synthetic chemicals or fertilizers.
The course also emphasizes the environmental, economic, and social benefits of organic farming, including improved soil fertility, reduced environmental impact, and increased market demand for organic products. Hands-on practical training is often included, allowing students to apply their knowledge in real-world farming settings. Upon completion, students will be prepared to pursue careers as organic farmers, agricultural consultants, or educators, and be equipped to contribute to the growing global demand for sustainable food systems.
